Crompton Lodges Walk

Year 1 and Year 6 went to Crompton Lodges on Friday 13th May and had a lovely time. We walked in mixed partners and the Year 6 children were very responsible and told us lots of lovely things along the way.

When we got there, we looked at different plants and animals and we even saw some goslings (baby geese!) then we played on the park and we were very kind to other children letting them go in front of us, pushing each other on the swings and helping each other with the trickier climbing frames!

Lastly, we played a very silly game of Horses and Jockeys with Miss Howard and Miss Davies and then we made the (very long!) walk back. We had lovely weather all morning and all had a fantastic time. Next week we will be writing a letter to Miss Magill to thank her for letting us have such a lovely treat. Please leave us a comment on our photos! 🙂

Tea Time!

This afternoon Year 1 had a very exciting event to look forward to…it was our tea party!

Miss Howard pushed all of our chairs and tables back and we sat on lovely picnic blankets with our friends and shared cakes, biscuits, crisps and some of us even tried pink lemonade!

We played lots of fun games and some of us won prizes because we did so well! Everybody joined in, did some really nice sharing and made sure every single one of us had a great afternoon.

Well done Year 1 for being so sensible and such good friends!
